Despite Batman being inherently violent, there is one scene that Christopher Nolan refused to include in the final cut of The Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight trilogy is known for its darker themes and violence, but there was a scene in The Dark Knight Rises that was too intense for director Christopher Nolan.
One deleted scene in the movie originally showcased Deputy Commissioner Peter Foley's death at the hands of Talia al Ghul in graphic detail, but it was deemed too gruesome for the final cut.
The decision to cut the scene was driven by the concern that it would lead to an NC-17 rating and result in a significant loss of audience, so the filmmakers chose to let viewers imagine how Foley's death played out.
