Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts projects could connect directly thanks to one rumored character and a new Phase 6 release schedule.

The delayed release of Thunderbolts in 2025 could create a connection between the film and the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot in Phase 6 of the MCU.
Steven Yeun's rumored character, the Sentry, may debut in Thunderbolts, and potentially establish a strong friendship with Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic, as seen in Marvel Comics.
While the Sentry's future in the MCU is uncertain, his introduction in Phase 6 could pave the way for his involvement in future storylines and add another powerful hero to the MCU.
