A new Nintendo Direct has been announced by the company following a series of rumors that the event would be hosted soon. Directs are the main type of events that Nintendo livestreams in order to bring announcements regarding titles and hardware. Often, the company holds thematic presentations, like those for Pokémon news, while sometimes its Directs are dedicated exclusively to third-party partners. This time, however, the focus is rumored to be on first-party titles.The new Nintendo Direct event was confirmed by a post on the official Nintendo profile on Twitter. The event will happen on Wednesday, June 21, at 10 a.m. ET. It will be broadcast on the official Nintendo channel on YouTube. Nintendo explained, in the post, that the Nintendo Direct should last around 40 minutes and will feature information about Nintendo Switch games that will arrive in 2023.

If these rumors are correct, it appears that the new Horse Ranch expansion could be priced at $39.99 USD. That price suggests it would be a large expansion rather than a simple DLC. In addition to introducing horses to the game, it could likely include more furniture, decorations, and possibly even a new map for the horse ranch to be located in.
